Before the shadows cloaked Tollan's glory, shields were foundational in the many battles that preceded it.
Among these, a distinct style of shield emerged, dual in its nature. Forged for war, its intricate carvings and imposing stature soon transitioned it into a symbol for sacred rites. With the fall of Tollan, much of its history faded, yet the essence of this artefact persisted. Today, a singular tribe, custodians of age-old customs, alone hold the honor to brandish it. In their rites, brave souls confront the enigmatic Mizimu with this shield, and if spared from its wrath, emerge as chosen protectors of their lineage.
